Key Responsibilities

In this Emergency Department role, you will:

  • Deliver rapid, effective nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and life-threatening conditions

  • Conduct triage, patient assessments, and initiate emergency interventions

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments safely and efficiently

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary ED teams

  • Monitor patients using specialized emergency and life-support equipment

  • Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

  • Respond to trauma alerts, cardiac events, stroke activations, and other critical incidents

  • Maintain professionalism, focus, and prioritisation in high-pressure situations


Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida RN license or valid compact license

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS and TNCC preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department or acute care experience

  • Strong clinical judgement, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced, high-stress environments

  • Commitment to delivering safe, ethical, and patient-focused care
