Key Responsibilities

In this CVOR travel role, you will:

• Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, including open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries

• Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure accurate OR setup

• Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during complex operations

• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond proactively

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and OR team members

• Ensure adherence to operating room protocols and safety standards

• Complete accurate clinical documentation

• Support patient handover to post-operative and recovery teams

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Florida or licensure-eligible

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• CNOR certification preferred

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience

• Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile field practices

• Calm, focused, and detail-oriented approach in high-pressure settings
